Portco Sustainability Policy

Portco Packaging is committed to a continuous effort to manufacture our products with a focus on sustainability. We engage in responsible purchasing practices throughout our entire supply chain. Portco works with its customers to educate them on the most sustainable materials for their packaging needs. We find the most efficient processes to reduce our energy demands through education and thoughtful machine acquisitions. We will lower our landfill waste by finding ways to recycle or reuse our waste material.

With sustainability in mind we direct our efforts on providing a safe work environment for our employees and ensure that our facility meets or exceeds all federal laws and safety standards. We will continue to actively educate our employees and, when issues arise, keep them up to date with regularly planned meetings to discuss our progress and challenges. We understand that without our employees we cannot succeed at business much less sustainability.

We at Portco know that sustainability is about making constant improvements and demonstrating a willingness to reevaluate our goals as we move forward. We also realize that it is a goal that we cannot achieve alone. We will openly report our progress and challenges on our website blog for all stakeholders and customers to see.
